For the reason that there is not one single uniform Singa culture, its cuisine is likewise as divers as the people who inhabit the peninsula. Food is a very important part of the Singaporean way of life and for this reason there are just so many places to eat in Singapore. With all a very high quality standard, it’s really not going to get better than the Singa cuisine!

A cosmopolitan; a metropolis; Singapore might be one of the brightest and vibrant cities in the world. And with all the things to do in Singapore the beaches are an experience of their own. With being build on a peninsula there must beaches all around Singapore. Well, although Singapore is a great city unfortunately a lot of beaches had to make room for urbanization and harbors. Which, if you ask me, are also great to visit and experience. However sometimes you like to lay back a bit and chill on the beach.
Yes Singapore has a lot of beach life to offer, yet they’re not as apparent as you think they would be on a peninsula. Basically all of the Singapore beaches are man-made and offer a lot of other facilities besides a day in the white sands. Especially at Sentosa Island there is a lot to do for everyone. And because all beaches are made for a different crowd, you better choose wisely! Or if you have the time, and I can recommend this, visit them all! There are many free things to do in Singapore and it has some really great landmarks and beautiful sights to visit. Besides all the famous landmarks such as the Merlion, the Marina Bay or for example it’s historic center, Singapore has incredible beautiful architecture. They don’t just tall buildings; they sculpture skyscrapers. Whole parks with trees, plants and flowers between the 15th and 17th floor? Why not! Singapore doesn’t care and this daring architecture really makes this city stand out with other cities.

The gardens are free of admission and will keep you busy for about half a day! Even if you hate plants, trees and animals: you will love the Botanical Gardens of Singapore! It’s just so quite and well maintained..! Awesome!
The moment you arrive in Singapore and order a beer you will may be in shock with its price. Yeah, beer, wine, cocktails: anything with alcohol is quite expensive. And with quite expensive I mean expensive. Well, if you don’t know where to go. Although there are many other things to do in Singapore, you might want a drink once in a while.
With so many things to do in Singapore you might want some guidance. My first walking tour has all the landmarks, sights and some great areas you want to visit. However the tour is not that long, it will keep you busy for about 8 hours. It’s quite warm in Singapore and therefore you should take it easy! You will walk around the whole Singaporean river with some nice areas just as all the Quays, the historical town, the marina bay, the iconic Gardens at the Bay and the business district. With my second tour we go to China Town, Little India and Arabstreet. These are some amazing neighborhoods in Singapore which are worth visiting. You need to take 1 metro to go from Chinatown to Little India, however I will explain how this works. It’s really easy and is very cheap to do!! You will have a great time, I promise!
For the third tour I cover the best shopping areas and malls in Singapore. Singapore is one of the best places to shop in the world. Although I hate shopping, I must say it’s bearable in Singapore! With some help of my girlfriend, her friends and my experiences so far I have made a great tour where to go to experiance some greatest things to do in Singapore: shopping! From Orchard Road with Channel, Gucci and other expensive brands to Little India where you can buy a T-shirt for under $1 and all the shopping in between. There are over 200 malls in Singapore, so I will just cover the best ones for you to choose from. Ah, and some tips. When you shop in Singapore, show your passport as a tourist for 7% discount on all purchase above S$80! Yay!
With just over 5.5mln people living in the peninsula there are many different interesting places to visit and things to do in Singapore. Although the Singaporean are very proud of their nationality (and they should be!) there is not really a single Singaporean identity. And this is exactly what makes this awesome city so diverse.
